Paul Report 21 Jun 2004 18:06

rick, Can you do anything with these details please, I copied them from my own thread posted earlier. An 1841 Census look-up if possible - London On a marriage certificate, Thomas Bennett GIBBINS was shown as living at 38 John Street, Commercial Road, Lambeth. His bride, Sophia Brooks KING was shown as living at 4 New Buckingham Place, Old Kent Road. Could anyone possibly see if they were still in the area in 1841 please? Paul

Rick - you very kindly found my Lowthers at No6 Leicester Street Poplar. James was at home with wife and one child... Could you have a look at the neighbours for me - don't know how easy this is to do. I've got Mary Ann Lowther in 1851 at the same address living with a Hannah ? age 66 described as head - there are Redknaps and Argents variously described as Uncle, Aunt and Sisters all living in the same house No 6 ! all born either Poplar or Bow - Will understand if this is not possible. Thanks Sue.
