Georgina, Don't suppose you have a house number do you ? Searching the whole of the Strand would take hours. Although the houses are not numbered, the index says which CD each block of numbers is on so it would narrow the search down to something manageable. Rick.

Hi, Rick, Could you help me again, please. Looking for residents of 10, Orange Street - I presume this is Newington as it appears on a wedding certificate in 1839. I am looking for a very elusive James Quinton with wife Elizabeth. Thanks. Tricia

Tricia, There are a few Orange Streets, but I think the one in St Saviour would be the closest t Newington. No sign of any Quintons in the streeet though. Rick.

Looking for any info on Joseph Henry Loader, his wife Elizabeth Hannah Loader, William b.1820, Hannah b.1828, Joseph b.1828. The children were all born in St Leonards Shoreditch. An older daughter Elizabeth b. 1818 was married in 1839 to George Cordaroy. Her address at time of marriage was Tabernacle Walk, and they married in the district of Shoreditch. Not sure if this was the family address. Thanks for your time. Sheila

Hi Rick Thanks for looking, I also thought the address looked suspect but that is how it is written on the 1851 census. There are other Kavanahs living at the following addresses which were related, can you please check them? 1 Reform Place, Shoreditch, Holywell or Moorfields 5 Carlton Place, Bethnal Green, 37 Queens Head, Bethnal Green (This also looks suspect, looks like a pub rather than a road name)? Any help will be gratefully received. Regards Angela
