hi Sue, Graingers in Sherburn that I know of are.... John & Ann William & Barbara George & Ann John & Jane Thomas & Hannah Francis, Elizabeth, Mary, James & John These were all born in early 1800's, but I don't know the parents, sorry. The Graingers seemed to populate Sherburn very well.

Hi Sue, Giggleswick is about 12 miles from Gisburn which is in Lancashire. The NEWSHOLMES maybe moved from there upto Slaidburn and then upto Giggleswick and Clapham. Any help you can push my way would be very much appreciated. Roland Newsholme

Hiya Sue, does your records cover Sheffield at all? if so, wondered if you could check records for around 1829/30/31 for my Helen Beckitt. She was a daughter of Joshua Beckitt but dont know who her mother is. Thanks, Claire
