hi Sue, Graingers in Sherburn that I know of are.... John & Ann William & Barbara George & Ann John & Jane Thomas & Hannah Francis, Elizabeth, Mary, James & John These were all born in early 1800's, but I don't know the parents, sorry. The Graingers seemed to populate Sherburn very well. |

hi roland. when i looked at gisburn- the entries related to the place of newsholme- not the surname. the only one was- john heaton willm newsolme and joannah. 25 nov 1810. sue. |

Hi Sue, Giggleswick is about 12 miles from Gisburn which is in Lancashire. The NEWSHOLMES maybe moved from there upto Slaidburn and then upto Giggleswick and Clapham. Any help you can push my way would be very much appreciated. Roland Newsholme |
