I'll give up on Enoch for a bit I think - he's been driving me mad for some time. With the Barnwell Lodge births - any chance of getting any more info on them ? I'm wondering whether unmarried mothers went there to have their offspring and then returned home or whether maybe grandmas mother Eliza worked there Mary

Mary, I googled to search for Barnwell Lodge .. no such place to be found. So I tried to search anyone living in Barnwell Lodge.. It's not showing up at all. All I can find is those who was born in Barnwell Lodge. As for Enoch & Sally (Sarah) Rogers... Cant find HIM but few Sarah's and I don't know her age or where born. T

Thanks Tracy - thats the whole family - now I just want the folks who lived at Barnwell Lodge, Barnwell Northants. How can I do that ? I've tried typing in Place and Address in the 1901 with no result. There has to be a way. Can you try another branch of the family ? 1871 Bedfordshire (I think!) Enoch Rogers and Sally (or Sarah) Langley. They married in 1848 if that helps. Not much to go on except that it seems she was widowed on the 1881 census. Thanks Mary

Sam, On 1901 they was living together as married, so the marriage took place before 1901 census ... So that's why I think they married between 1898 to 1900

Sam, I already looked for the marriage after searched for them in 1901 .. nothing came up Arthur with Eliza.. So I assume that they married between 1898 - 1900 Sorry

Thats a hard one Tracy - at the time of the 1891 census my grandmother was living with her grandparents at Newton Bromswold, Bedfordshire, as was her mother. Grandmas name was Esther Harriett Barnett -Mum was Eliza Barnett but they won't be there. Grandma was born out of wedlock and Barnwell Lodge given as her place of birth - I was trying to find out who else lived there around then in an attempt to try and work out who her father might have been. Tried using the address on the 1901 but couldn't get anywhere. Is there any other way of finding out who was there ? Mary

1891 census - is there any way you can tell who was living at a particular address? My grandmother was born at Barnwell Lodge, Barnwell Northants and I'd like to know who else was living there at the time. Thanks Mary

John, What exactly did you want me to look for? And could I have a bit more details i.e their age, place of birth or place of residence at time of the census etc. T
