Michelle. Is it possible to do a look up for me please on 1891 census? Matilda O'Neil b1874 in Burslem, Stafford. I think she was in Stoke Upon Trent. I know they lived there in 1881. Address of 5 Cross Street. Many thanks Sue.

This is all I have on John William Burton, Michelle. Born 25 Dec 1882/3 in Altofts, West Yorks. He was a coalminer. Married approx 1908 to Edith Agnes McCroakam. Their children were Jack (my grandfather), Albert and Lloyd. I don't have any info on his parents at all. John and Edith moved to Leicestershire circa 1918 and he died 1955. Thanks for trying anyway. :)

Susan If you could send me a direct e-mail I'll send you the listings for all Matildas born in Burslem but none coming up with surmane O'Neil. I do have an image for you to look at of an 18 year old O'Neil as a Lodger in Stoke on Trent but it's difficult to make out the forename (starts with a M and ends in ia!!) Could you give me more details for her family as perhaps I could find her through them. Cheers Michelle
