hi debs, i'm a little confused as on William Jones Marriage certificate is father is down as John Dye, which is throwing me out, his Mother was definitely Mary Jones as he is with her on 1851 census, but there is no father there, and the only john dye on the census is married to a Phoebe which i have checked her name was Jones before married, so this is getting more confusing by the minute, thanks june

Hi Deborah Thanks for the kind offer. I wonder if you could look up Philip Stoddart, born 1848 in Northumberland. I need to know who his parents/siblings were if possibly. Any help would really be appreciated. Many thanks Lindsey

Morning Debs I hate sharing my computer, seems I'm always last on it 'cept when they are at school : ) roll on Monday - So whilst they are snoozing I wondered if I could ask for a look up on my gg granny: Annie Elizabeth PRITCHARD according to the census form of 1901 she was born around 1862 ( give or take a year ) in HEREFORD. That's all the info I have been able to churn up . Thank you so much for your time. Much Happiness Debi

Hi Debs Thank goodness the sun is shinning here - kids out and the computer is ALL MINE lol Nope Pritchard was her maiden name - I found a marriage entry for her in 1881 ( neither her or her husband Albert H GLAZE were on the 1881 census, haven't requested a look up of the 1891 as I found them on the 1901 ) I had drawn blanks on the 1871 census too - she wasn't there either. I have to wait till next month to order the cert though as I have just wasted £14 on 2 other ancestors :( So any help would be great - Thanks debs Much Happiness Debi

Thanks Deborah, I saw that entry for Francis Gibson & Sarah Pledge on the IGI, my problem is they had a daughter in 1821 (if she gave the right age on marriage) also the census for 51, 61 and 71 all say Norah! I think I might just go away and scream or swear! Regards Jean
