Please can you look and see if James and Jane Mottley were living at 65 Commercial Road, Lambeth in 1851. They were married in 1850 and Their son James was born there in 1857. There were older children including Basilia born about 1853. Many thanks Heather

Hi Lynda I would be really grateful if you could perhaps try and find my G.Gt.Grandad John HENNELL born 1841/2 Westminster. so would be 10 or 11 yrs old. The GRO can't find marriage or birth certs but I have death cert. Wife name Susan. Am trying to find John's Mum and Dad. (Death was in Westminster Hosp. St.Georges H.Square). I know you may not be able to help as I haven't got proper address only Westminster. Many thanks Sandra

Thanks Lynda, I will keep hunting and get back to you if I find anything for John HENNELL. I know he was living at 27 Westminster Buildings, Old Pye Street, Westminster in 1860's when he was married. Perhaps rest of family were living in same buildings. Many thanks, Sandra

Hi Lynda Im not sure if Ive asked before but could you do a lookup please for Elizabeth Hannah Davey(allowing for spelling difference) at Coombe st(I think thats how its spelt) off City Road, no number Im afraid! Also for the life of me cant think of proper name(just finished a night shift :( ) for a poor hospital at St Lukes on City Rd for same name please? My g/g/gran Eliazbeth on 61/71/81/91census was showing from St Lukes, City Rd abt 1837/8 but for the life of me cant find birth or her marriage to Richard Davidson from Newcastle anywhere! The first born son Richard(1857ish - again cannot find birth cert) was born same place as Elizabeth and Richard's work was with the railways. The only clues I was given from my great aunt who said that she was from a wealthy family - Coombe, and that the family disowned her when she married for doing so beneath her station to Richard. But on other childrens birth certs it states Davey!!! So really confused, why change name (possibilty)?? Ive really hit a brick wall with this one. Vanda here on site has been trying to help me aswell so hoping fresh pair eyes to help would be great for my sanity lol! thank you Debbie

Hi Lynda I have finally acquired a couple of birth certificates and would love a lookup. Thomas Smith (shame about the name!) of 9 Cornwall Street Pimlico - carpenter and his family. Arthur Henry Winfield 30 William Street Notting Hill, Kensington, London, Middlesex and family. I notice you also do 1871 lookups. If the Smiths aren't on the 1851 they are most likely on the 1871. Sorry about the confusion. Any help gratefully received!! Thanks Jane
