Hi Jan, see that you've had a huge response but thought I would try my luck anyway. Please could you search for John Mallett born 1876/77 in St Pancras, Middlesex (his father Wesley Mallett) to see who he was living with and where and also John Mallett born 1876/77 in Marylebone, London (his father John Mallett). Thank you.

Hi Janet, Many many thanks. I needed to know if she was married or single. Now I know, and know for certain she 'got together' with her sister's husband after she died, probably to look after the children. They had about 6 children before they married!!! I wonder if anyone knows if it was illegal to marry your wife's sister and why they waited 10yrs after the first wife's death to marry??? I have another family that didn't marry for about 8yrs after the first child was born although they were able, one single the other a widower!! Dawn Hurst NZ

Hi I am guessing that Ezra would have been approx 17 yrs given that he married in 1892 - he could of course have been older, but only a couple of years I should imagine as he was still producing children 20 years later! I do not know parents names - this is one thing I would like to know! His first marraige was to a Florence Costin in 1892, perhaps he was living with her? In 1913 his occupation was Hat machinist and then later as General Labourer. Address in 1913 is Bury Road, Stopsley, Luton Thats all I have! Would love to find out more.
