Hi Janet, Could you see what you can find on a William Joseph Williams born 1874 in Southwark, London. His occupation(in later life) was a mosaic worker/boilerman. He had a son born 14/07/1904 in Giggleswick, West Riding also named William Joseph Williams who was my grandfather. Having great difficulty finding any other information beyond WJW's 1874 birth date and place of birth. Any info greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. Sam in NZ

Sam/Martin Have you looked on 1881? That might be best to try and trace the family on there... Then try the census decoder for 1901 If you need any help just leave a message on here or e-mail me jan :)

An 1891 look up for Jonathan Nuttall at 20 Taylor Street, Liverpool and Margaret Holden at 10 Louis Street Liverpool, would be much appreciated. thanks Lyn

Hi Janet, Me again. Please can you look up Clara Grace Chapman age would be about 12 years old on census. Living in London and I have been told that she was born at St. Thomas, London (Paddington/Kensington area). Any info would be great as she has been a bit evasive so far. Thank you.

Hi Janet, Could you please look up Andreas Peter Michelsen (or Michelson) Judging from children D.O.Bs and Place of birth the family lived in Yorkshire up until about 1880. Can't find them on the 1881 census but the child born around this time was born in Norway so I think they lived there for a couple of years before returning to Sunderland Durham. Andreas was born c1840 possibly Norway his wife Teresa was Irish (1852) kids were Mary(1871), Beatrice(1873), John(1874), Frederick(1877), Eva(1879), Josephine(1884), Violet(1889) and Dagmar(1891) Andreas was dead before the 1901. I know that the problem with her is that there are a lot of Clara Chapman's around at that time, so she is going to be hard to pin-point. I would be grateful if you could send me all Clara Chapmans census info though. Thank you very much.

Hi I am trying to find my paternal grandmother. My father's was born at 9 Ellison Terrace Newcastle/Tyne 24/12/1884 his name on BC Walter Codlington Dale mother's name Annie Johnson. He was illegitimate, his mother died when he was two. And he was reared by a family named Charles Hobkirk. But why the different surname to anyone? I don't know where my grandmother was born.

Can you look for James and Emma Waller? They are probably living in the Stopsley/Luton area. I think they would be in their sixties or seventies. Also George and Rachael Goodge.
