Hi Sarah, I think my family where in the area's you have in 1871 I know Elezabeth Fawcus was in kensington in 1870s I am looking for Sarah Fawcus and Henry Fawcus her son and Elizabeth Fawcus her daughter, last I have of them is Elizabeth in Kensington and Sarah in 1881 in Croyden and she died in Fulham. should you have any Fawcus they are all from the same family as it is a not so common name. Sarah The other family I am looking for is Dachtler/Datchler even Dackler I have found so many different spelling, so anything that looks like that all brothers, sisters, Aunts Uncles etc. as its the same family. They too are in the Bermondsey area & St Olave (not sure how its spelt) Thanks Irene

Hi Sarah Thanks for your offer. Looking through the London Census does take so long if you don't know where they are. First I have a family of Steadman (or Stedman) Found g grandparents in Lambeth William Joshua & Jane with family but its his parents I would like to find. William (Henry) 1814 & Sarah Ann Steadman 1816 both born in Bermondsey/Rotherhithe moved to Lambeth between 1842-1845 by 1881 they are in Battersea. William (H) is a Ship Wright or Barge Builder. So if you come across this couple I would be pleased to hear from you. Many thanks again. Irene

Hi - could you please see if you can find the following for me:- Serjeant Berry (name varies..Sargent, Sargrant, etc.) born Trimley St. Martin, Suffolk. He may be a widower or with wife Harriet also from Suffolk They had a son James age 12/13 b.Bow. Possibly others. They were living in Bromley by Bow in 1881. Thanks.......Doreen Berry

I found 3 Eliza JACOBS listed:- age 9 Poplar Bow 577 122a age 35 Lewisham 769 42b age2 Lewisham 769 42b I found 2 William JACOBS listed:- age 54 Holborn 355 111d age 38 Lewisham 769 42b ( i think he would be living with the other 2 Elizas) I hope that helps All the best Sarah

I wonder if you could look up for me a HENRY COONE he was born in Whitechapel in 1862. I would love to know the name of his parents, occupation and address plus if he had any brothers or sisters. Another family are the JACOBS born in the MILE END area Eliza JACOBS b 1853, Eliza JACOBS b 1854 and Selina JACOBS b 1855 all living at home with their Mum Eliza b 1818 ( Lambeth or Westminster) and maybe their father William JACOBS. Hi Max I don`t know yet if i will be going to the fair on Sat. Ive looked for your BELL family. I found a James age 26 living with a Mary age 29, but no Ernest is listed.
