Hi Sarah, I would be very grateful for a look up for Charles SKINNER and his wife, Emma. I think he was a Customs Officer, born in Chatham, Kent. His children would be Charles, Emma and Minnie. They were living in Bow on the 1881 census. He would be about 47 years old. An address or ref. no. would be a great help. Many thanks Sheila

Sarah. When you have time could you look for Richard Snelling aged 45/6 born Westminster and his wife Eliza Snelling aged 47/8 born St. Lukes. Don't know if they have children. Believed to be in the Clerkenwell, Holborn or Shoreditch areas. Many thanks. Jean.

Hi Sarah I think the Elizabeth you found could be the right one. I found James and Elizabeth on the 1881 census and James has been mistranscribed. His name was James William and had been transcribed as F W, maybe that is the case this time. Thanks for looking Sharon
