All this confusion is good for the brain....lol

Well we have my grandma hilda b.1930 blackburn

2 years before, 1928 her sister Betty was born wellington.

There are the other children joe, derek, peter, edna, susan and june.

June was the last to be born 1943.

Their mother was florence ball (think her middle name was may) and she was from shropshire but we dont have a birth for her yet.

Their father was joseph bradshaw from blackburn. we have his death 1948 (when my nana was 18) age 52 wellington. we dont have his birth yet. but he must have been born about 1896.

And we dont have their marriage yet.

does that clear it up a bit?

Just for reference I think this must be Florence second husband death.

died in Wrekin in Mar qtr 1979

Therefore the earlier death I found for Florence was incorrect.

I think he must have mis-read what you put steph.

yes florence was josephs wife, and we need to find a birth for joseph around the 1896 mark...Florence remarried after the age of 50 to a martin leese we believe
