Find Ancestors

Hi Kay.
This is what I found. First I checked Nichols. These are all children with parents John and Maria:

Eliza Nichols Father John Mother Maria 05/03/1837 @ Westerleigh

Clara Nichols 17/12/1826 baptised at 4 months @ SS Philip & Jacob. Father a mason

Emma 20/11/1825 @ Westerleigh. Father a labourer

Anne 03/11/1822 @ Westerleigh. Father a labourer

Then checked Nicholls:
Sarah 14/08/1831 @ Westerleigh. Father a labourer
Rosena 14/06/1835 @ SS Philip & Jacob. Father a mason.
Matilda 19/09/1924 @ SS Philip & Jacob. Father a mason
Emma Maria 22/04/1821 @ SS Philip & Jacob. Father a mason
Emma Maria 23.03.1823 SS Philip & Jacob. Father a mason
Alfred Adolphus 22/02/1829 @ SS Philip & Jacob

The only Samuel I could find was Samuel Nicholls 19/01/1834 @ Winterbourne but his father was Samuel Mother Maria.

There was also an Elizabeth 07/11/1830 @ Winterbourne but her father was Samuel Mother Maria.

James Nichols 11/05/1828 @ Winterbourne, again father Samuel Mother Maria. Abode Frenchay

Seems strange that 3 of the children are listed with father as Samuel.

Sorry couldnt find any marriages for Joseph & Caroline. There were quite a few for Joseph's but none to Caroline.

I had a search for George Hawkins but nothing. Do you have any brothers or sisters of George to go on?

Sorry Jo nothing came up at all in the baptismal registers. I also checked the marriage index but nothing except a Richard Taplay (TAPLAY) marrying a Maria TAPLEY (notice the spellings) 29/08/1822 @ Bedminster St John
