Thanks a lot for the lookups, Marcelle. You found the babtism record for William Coneybeer, son of William and Patience. Thanks also for the marriage date you found. Now I know they were married on 09/04/1833. I suppose it didn't mention her parents?

I don't know any siblings for Eliza, unfortunately. Her name is mentioned as Eliza on all the census records and on the birth certificate of her daughter. She was born between 1811 and 1813. Her eldest daughter was called Elizabeth and may be named after her grandmother, Eliza's mother.

Thank you for the info. I can not make up my mind as to purchase or take a day out and travel to see the original entries. From the info you have given me, there does appear to be a lot of entries for the Sturge name.

Have sent you a pm

Juelz Report 10 Nov 2007 17:57

Hi Marcelle

May I trouble you again.

Many thanks

Peter Report 14 Nov 2007 11:10

Hi marcelle

I believe Caroline was born around 1840 in Warmley Glos & that her parents were Abraham & Charlotte. Sorry about the mix up with marriage dates would you have the marriage / baptism date of Abraham Jefferis - Charlotte surname unknown.

Regards Huw

Marcelle Report 14 Nov 2007 11:21

Hi Huw

Do you know where Abraham was born because if it was Warmley that wont be on the disc.

Stargazer (Jan) has been offering Glos look ups.
If Abraham was baptised from Bristol then I can check

Marcelle Report 14 Nov 2007 11:22

Checked marriage index and the only marriage for a Abraham was 08/05/1831 @ Bitton but that was to a Sally Moreton

Peter Report 14 Nov 2007 11:26

Thanks for your help i think Abraham was born in Wick Glos if this helps

Regards Huw
