Hi Danielle
Sorry I cannot find Peter Loughlan on the 1851 census.
I cannot find a marriage for him either.
Also no sign of a death for a female Loughlan between 1851 and 1861.
They could have been married in Ireland.
I have tried all the various spelling variations for the surname.

Hi Jacqueline
Since your grandfather was born in 1906 he will not appear on the 1901 census which is the most recent census open to public view.
There are two ways to trace his parentage. One is to find his birth registration OR to find his father's name by purchasing Ernest's marriage cert.Do you know the approx date of his marriage.
The only birth I have been able to find in 1906 for an Ernest Helliwell is March Qtr 1906 Wortley 9c 855 .Could this be your grandfather(I am not familar with Yorkshire so do not know if it is near Sheffield.)

Sorry not to be more helpful.

Hi Mary

Just wondered if you were able to look up a family in the 1841, 51 and possibly 61 census. I'm looking for a Joseph Pearce and wife Sarah both born around 1785 +/-10 years. They were in the Lambeth, Surrey area in around 1816 and had children Henry, Grace and Richard, although they would have all left home I presume by the 1841 census. Thanks in advance for this lookup, I really appreciate it.

Kind regards
