Found the marriage Harry Gower/Rose Simpson June Qtr 1934 Ecclesall B 9c 900.

I strongly recommend that you send for this cert,which will give the name and occupation of Harry's father which will enable you to trace his family back.

The only birth for a Gower I can find in Sheffield on 1901 is:
Ernest Irvine Gower June Qtr 1901 Sheffield 9c 639.
Do you know (approx) when Harry's second marriage took place???
Is it possible that Harry was a nickname and the chap shown above is correct.
We need to find a marriage for him.

I'm trying to gather information on my grandfather Harry Gower. He was born June 1901 in Sheffield. Was married to Beatrice Ibberson who passed away and then re-married to my grandmother Rose Simpson. I've tried looking through birth certs for this year and cannot find anything on him.

Yes it was horrible and now the one who caused all the trouble is accusing me of being a stalker because I asked for an apology because she said I had sworn at her when I did not,also said Genes had deleted my posts,which they had not.I think she is mentally ill and needs help.

Well here goes I have a Frederick Richard Milford b1863 Devon I cannot find him in the 1891 or the 1901.I have him as married to a Ellen in 1894 St Thomas Exeter Devon but not sure !

So sorry but I have not been able to tie up Elizabeth Gibson with any of the marriages that you found,surnames being Collins/France/Glassborow and Hart.
There was a vague possibility with one on 1881 which you could check out on LDS for Eliza Hart with husband Frederick,but the Hart shown on Freebmd is James not Frederick.
I could not match up Alfred Gibson either.

Hi Mary, I was lookin on FreeBMD to see if I could find anything on Elizabeth Gibson sep qtr 1854 St Saviour 1d 31 and found 2 marriages; dec qtr 1872 St Saviour 1d 218 aged 18 and dc qtr 1875 St Saviour 1d 133 aged 21 and also Alfred Gibson born mar qtr 1862 St Lukes 1b 515 I found marriage mar qtr 1882 St Saviour 1d 61 aged 20. But I dont know if these are them. Is there any chance please that you could check them out for me. Thank you ever so much for all the help that you have given me so far. Karen x
