I am trying to trace the above Joseph and his family in the USA. They sailed with the USM Steamship Baltic. I believe they arrived in New York 16th April, 1888. His wifes name was Ann Fletcher b. 1838 Cumwhitton, Cumberland, England. Some of their children travelled with them while others stayed in England.
I know that AnnĀ“s daughter Esther travelled back to England along with her husband and family after only a couple of years. There may well be a link to Scranton, Lackawanna, Pennsylvania although I cannot be certain.
Any help or suggestions as to how I can trace these ancestores would be most welcome.

Regards
Mike
