although i have ancestry for some reason it's comming up

I have looked at the images (on Ancestry) for 1922 and 1923.........there is NO record of a death for Violet E Pope in either year.

What leads you to think that she died so soon after her birth? Could you have been misinformed?

I notice the mmn is also Pope Did the mother marry?
Violet may have died with her mothers married name.

My great grandmother was called Ida Violet Pope. Her mothers maiden name was also Pope. When her parents wed it was one of those occasions when two people with the same surname got married. ;-)

The birth records here on GR say that it was a Violet A Pope born in Southwark in 1922. There are no birth records or death records for Violet E Pope on here for that year. :-S

Not sure why you have replied on this old thread Graham....but it goes to show you should look at the image as the Genes/FMP record is wrong
