I'm looking for the Staceys of Cannington. Mary Ann Stacey (born in 1829 in Cannington) married William Jones of Shapwick and then they lived in Stogursey and there were other connections in Fiddington and Nether Stowey, amongst others. Having looked through the very complete transcribed baptism records for the region, there seem to be loads of Staceys scattered around, far more than you might imagine unless many of them are related in some way. This is a task to come back to but if anyone knows about the Stacey gang please let me know.

I am looking for the address in Bridgwater Somerset of Eric Gibson & Gladys Gibson (nee Draper) they lived in Bridgwater Somerset in 1940/41 , he died in Bridgwater Hospital in 1941 0f Pertonitus, does anyone have any records they could look up for me please.Many Thanks

Hi Heather, William Penny is on the 1841 census living with his parents James c1786 and Elizabeth c1791 and siblings John c1816, Eliza c1821, Arabella c1821, Elizabeth c and 1826. They are residing in North cadbury. In 1881 there is another son Hubert John born 1874

In later census' William is still in North Cadbury but is married to Ann. In 1871 he has is married with a daughter Agnes Kate born 1867, Francis William born 1869, and Lenord Thomas 9 months.
