If so, you can search, and download, death certificates (from 1904 - 1956) -

Hi, Thanks for that link. I picked it up off you a little while ago and thanks to you I have found out a lot of information.
I have just added to my thread re Mormon Migration as I now have the year that they arrived in the USA. It was 1926. Please can you give me a nudge in the right direction to find passenger lists etc.

Your help has been greatly appreciated. Thankyou Sylvia.

Hi, tried the Ellis Island sit, got nowhere, so put a message on ancestry.

BINGO

Got a reply. The family travelled from Liverpool to Salt Lake via QUEBEC !!!

No wonder I could not trace them. Ships name MONTCALM.

Thankyou for all your advice have stored it for future use.
Regards Sylvia.

Hi ,
just to update you.
What a wonderful lady 'Eastender ' is.
She has helped me with my ancestors who emigrated to Salt Lake via Canada and has visited the cemetery where they are buried.

After the holidays she is sending me not only the photo of my relatives grave but also that of her husband, their son and his wife, who were all next to each other.

I have thanked her privately, but would like to do so on this thread also.

A wonderful Christmas present , thankyou.
