same here have 15 pages but cannot open any or disgard any ,,

I too have 15 pages and nothing happens if I click on things. The first entry apparently has 130!!! matches.

The last lot of Hot Matches was 2 pages, all of the same name. Some were mine, with known contacts, but most were in the wrong part of the country.

I hope GR can reinstate it as it was because I had a few waiting to be contacted, but that's probably wishful thinking.

I cant remember a time when there wasn't a problem of some kind with hotmatches

Nearly every time genes try to change something for the better they seem to make it worse

just been onto genes YET AGAIN re HOT MATCHES

Has anyone one out there had any this year because I haven't except the ones I recieved last week which of course I cann't look at

Huray Huray or so I thouight recieved an email from genes hot matches were in thought yesss went on genes to be yet again disapointed to find I didn't have any

after reading this, thought i would check mine, i used to have 45 pages of hotmatches because i kept them all, especially the ones with place unknown now i only have 15 pages.. :-S :-(

Had 15 pages which I couldn´t open.
Looked again over the weekend & I was down to 1 page.
Had an e mail from Genes yesterday to say my "Super Hot Matches" had arrived.
Took a look & nothing new.
Have now had no hot matches since Christmas.

all my new hot matches vanished I can now access the old ones but today I find I am loosing pages,lol.

Thought you'd like to know that all my hot maches which would not discard are now resting in the discarded hot matches pot. I have no hot matches and the message is there that GR will look for them again in the fullness of time.

I did not try to click on any of the discarded hot matches to see they would open.

Ah ha, well done GR. If I click on a discarded hot match I can look at what it was. I chose to discard them so the system has just obeyed my wishes. It might be that the problem is fixed.

We have applied two fixes, one last week and one today that should resolve the displaying of hot matches in your account. Please refer to this thread for details.

STILL WAITING FOR HOT MATCHES

As i have said I have over a thousand names on my tree and have added about a hundred names this past few months and still no hot matches
What is going on I would have got pages before I know genes have changed things but even so at least a dozen just so I know things are on the up would be great

Still haven´t had any Hotmatches since December apart from the ones I have been told by Genes have arrived, but which don´t exist.

Also remember that, as a result of lobbying from members, GR initiated a change last December so that POB as well as DOB would be matched in future.

The process only take 100 of your names to check each time - if there are none to match in that 100, then you won't get any new ones.

The reality is that you will no longer get HotMatches 'thick and fast' in practice the opposite will happen and in future they will become somewhat of a rarity.....!

At least 1 would be nice but nothing this year
Had emails telling me that I have a match and detailing the persons name and when I check on genes nothing

Are you sure the message was about HotMatches? I don't think the HotMatch email from GR mentions names, it just says you have some.

GR also send other apparently random messages to members telling them the other members may also have the same name in their tree - these are not HotMatches so you won't find them on your HM pages. This is possibly what you received. Clicking on the link in the email shoud open your browser and let you see the details.

I didn't have any for ages then suddenly ten pages that I couldn't open now nothing again. I don't understand why used to get them every week.
