I have a Samuel Arnold bn. 1732 in Everdon Northamptonshire......he married a Ruth Jones of Everdon. Possible parents are Robert Arnold born around 1700 and wife Mary ------------. I have been searching for over two years to try establish Samuel's parents details, without success. Can anyone out there help identify Samuel's parents ??????? THANKS Elsa :-(

Are you sure of your facts?
I had a quick look fast night to see if I could find anything to help you.
What I found was
Samuel ARNOL married Ruth JONES at Maidford 15 Oct 1753
Maidford is a few miles south of Everdon.

Samuel ARNOLD baptised at Syrensham 5 May 1732 Parents Robert and Mary.
There is also a note that the name was HATWELL in thye Bishops Transcripts.
There is an earlier marriage for a Robert at Syrensham but not to a Mary.

Bearing in mind the location, I would be inclined to also look at North Bucks and East Oxfordshire.

From the Northants Marriage Index 1700 - 1837:

Robert ARNOLD married Dorothy WHITE 5 Sep 1706 at Syresham

Robert ARNOLD of Siresham married Jane PETTY 21 May 1741 at Cosgrove by License

Mary ARNOLD married John PRESTIDGE 2 Oct 1737 at Syresham

These are all the Marriages relating to ARNOLD and Syresham
