Hi, just had a message with a link to this thread, my great grandfather was A J Faul, I've been on the CWGC site but the item is no longer there, can anyone tell me more about it please.

Hi Sheryl

I can't remember exactly what the CWGC site were saying about these soldiers but I think they were wanting to add something about the men to the memorial in the Stranton Grange Cemetery in Hartlepool.

If you contact the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and say that you had heard they were looking for next of kin to these soldiers, and give your great grandfather's name I'm sure they will get back to you.

There is a "Contact Us" page on their site.

A news item on the CWGC site is appealing for next of kin of soldiers listed at a Hartlepool Stranton cemetery-there is a list of names if any one can help

If you go to the main Commonwealth War Graves site, there is a 'Contact us' option near the top of the opening page
http://www.cwgc.org/

You could state his name and say that you understand they were looking for links to his family and ask for more details.
