died at 93 sydney street Chelsea london
aged 58

He might not have been buried

What research have you done yourself? The wording of your post implies that you have tried to find the info............

i have tried looking on near by church yards

i have tried army records as he says he was in the army clothing dept

Probably full by 1934....try the municipal graveyard..........use the link provided by Gins

Unless he was serving soldier at the time of his death, the army records won't be of any use...and his age would preclude that

I,ve tried everything to get any info on him ...he didnt marry my great gran but she took his name and just by total chance I found a death certificate which was in their area and took a huge chance and sent for it I know its his as his "wife" is in attendence when he dide and gave thier home address as westmoreland street ......

I,m so cross I cant find anymore on him till 2021 census comes I guess

On the London Electoral Register in 1933 William Henry Williams is indeed shown to be living at 41 Westmoreland St, SW1. Also at the address is a Kate Jane Williams plus 4 others with the surname Chivers.

Yes I do think as others do that 93 sydney street was part of the brompton hospital...or even a workhouse but we cant find total proof

Yes I,ve checked ansestry and other sites but nothing!

Not that it helps much but on the 1911 census 93 Sydney Street, London SW appears to just be a normal house. There were just 2 census forms completed by people living at the address.

Just a thought gleaned from another thread on Genes.

Someone posted that an ancestor of theirs who died in the early 1930's was buried in an unmarked paupers grave because their relatives could not afford to bury them. It sounds harsh to us but it was the time of the great economic depression which began in 1929 and lasted almost 10 years.
