	You could try this English general phone number - at least you should get to someone who has more information? (I am assuming that the phone number that Stuart posted is the one you tried) Finding a FamilySearch Center There are three ways to find the location of a FamilySearch Center. Go to FamilySearch.org and click on FamilySearch Centers. If you're searching for a center in the United States, type your city and state in the location fields, and click on [Search]. If you're searching for a center outside the United States, enter the city and country. Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 1,374 Send Message	No hours listed, hoped the phone no. might help. I happen to have used the Portsmouth centre many moons ago it seems. Have just dialled their number and an answer phone message there says that unfortunately due to circumstances they are having to close. Message dated 1st September. But at least a message, so perhaps that is what has happened at Winchester, but earlier and there is no longer even a message??
