You need to compare to other info that you have. Can the person be found on a census with parents and/or siblings?

Andrew

I have had quiet a lot of probs finding info on this part of my family the only info I can find is on FreeReg except for his birth which I found on Family search the birth I am after is for James Jackson he married in 1811 so I have looked for birth from1770 to 1795 I have found 2 one in 1778 and the other in 1784 both in Dudley Worcestershire, The 2 I found have perants Edward and Sarah and Thomas and Hannah the only link I have is That James had a daughter Sarah but not sure if that is a strong enough link, I have not found him on a census i do know he was a Glazier

Thank you

Where and when was his daughter born Mary?
Might help to see her on a census if you have one - I know you have her info but it can help us get a handle on things sometimes!

I have just found a death for a James jackson in 1842 age 66 but not sure if he's mine but have sent for cert, that would make him born 1776 so still not sure if he's 1 of the births i have found for 1778 or 1784 but still cannot find him on 1841 census
