Canada is the same as Australia ........ no central registry.

You have to know which province


PLUS, Canada adhers strictly to the 70/ 80/ 100 year rule .............. information on deaths less than 70 years ago, marriages 80 years ago, or births less than 100 years ago simply is not available.

Trying to trace information more recent than those shown depends on newspaper announcements, cemetery records, obituaries, telephone directories, etc

For research in Australia, you need to know which State, as they all have their own records.

Researching:
Weedon - Australia, Hertfordshire; Paterson - Scotland; Elmer - Huntingdon; Ball, Lloyd, Warren - Birmingham

Google "BMD" plus the relevant country
