'Yes that is my Searle family thank you, Richard (senior) lost his 1st wife in childbirth, Mary J Searle is Mary Ann in the 1851 census and I have found her in the 1871 in Lambeth but after that she vanishes until in 1908 she is living in Mbro with Caroline and she is called Mary Rowland but I cant find a marriage for a Mary Searle and a Rowland so she must have married more than once, and I cannot find what happens to her sister Elizabeth Ann after 1851. Just wondering if Mary Ann died and Mary J on census is another child? It was quite common to re-use names back then.
