Hi Can anybody tell me what actual records you get when you pay for credits, I have found some of my relatives buried at Islington and also is it a safe site Sheila

Have you looked on freebmd first, that lists deaths from 1837 to about 1963. But this only tells you the quarter the person died and their age.

As far as I know, the site is perfectly safe. It has been mentioned several times on these boards as a search option

To find out what they offer, check their home page.............if the info on there isn't comprehensive enough for you - contact them, and ask

Its a safe site I have purchased quite a few bits and pieces

The records differ from cemetery to cemetery though, for Islington I have a copy of the burial register for gt gt grandmother, gives address age and date of burial

some give date and time, name of undertaker etc etc, you'll have to check on the site what it has for the place you are looking for

I purchased credits and I got the same details as Janet for Islington. It helped as it was 1865 so it confirmed it was the correct person by giving his age
