Trying to find a Family on the 1901 Census

The only people registered at 16 Brent View Road in the 1901 census are the Saunders family as shown in my posting above. No ground floor or other is indicated - using FMP

As I'm not used to Ancestry, am I doing something wrong looking up the addresses, names etc. I can see what Detective has found and I have done street searches for the name Enfield up and down both Belle view Terrace and Brent View Road on FMP.

I can't see David Saunders on the Electoral Roll in 1901 for that address

Was it that the Electoral Registers were done at a different time to the census? Did the Saunders move out and the Enfields move in, or was a ground floor dwelling formed at some point?

What am I missing please - something obvious knowing me!!

Ah! David is SANders in 1900 on the Electoral Roll at 16 Brent View Road - Ground Floor! (transcript says 10). Same in 1907/09


There is a William Infield at 25 Argyle Road, The Hyde, NW (ground floor) in 1904
Name: William Infield
Year: 1904
County or Borough: Harrow
Ward or Division/Constituency: Harrow
Street Address: 25, A,-gyle road, The I lyde

and in 1902 the original says William Infield
25 Argyle Road, The Hyde, N.W... Dwelling House (successive) Brent View Road and 25 Argyle Road (ground floor)
(No. 25 uninhabited 1901 census)

My Great Grandfather John William Infield was born 1872 Ravesden Beds I know this as I have his Birth cert,My Greatgranmother Was born1874 St Peters St Albans 1874 also have her cert but no father on itas the one she names on the wedding cert is dead before she was even born as he died in 1870.
Their children are Daisy born 1895 St Albans she is on the 1911 census, next comes William Albert b1897st Albans,the there is Lillian Elizabeth b1899 St Albans died 1899 .Hendon.
Then their comes Herbert 1901 Hendon then my Grandfather Charles B 1901 Hendon ,next their is Violet 1906 St albans last comes Claude b1098 St Albans . I have all the birth certs Also found them on the 1911 census . But not the 1901

Some one asked why grandparents name is Fisher Hannah Husband Thomas Howell Died in 1870 Well Before Elizabeth was born in 1875t here is no father on her birth cert . Hannah Married Joseph Fisher

When in 1901Was this electoral list taken . As far as I know the adddres of 16 Brent view road is empty at the ime of the census. I know my Great Uncle herbert was b their in 1900, but by 1901 August they were in 25 Argyll road

I don't know, Elizabeth.

The information might have been collected the year before in preparation. One of mine had died at the end of the previous year, but was still listed on the following years' ER.

if you wanted to follow up re the date, you could ask Harrow Council if they know.

The Library has a Local History section.

the William that you have on the civil registration event Marriage is a William Infield He Married Ann Fisher . This is not my GreatGrand father but he is related to me further back, John William Infield Married Elizabeth Howell in ST Peters Church St Albans.
Although People have been helpful I am the person whoo put a lot of info on the Ancestry Site when I coul;d afford to join it.
I am Still trying to find where the rest of the family were in 1901, they are on the 1911 census all of them Elizabeth & the Children are in 81 Castle Road St Albans, John William is Down J W Enfield & is a patient in hillend aslymun in St Albans

Thanks for the information about then =m Being in Brent view Road I knew they were in two houses in that road as a great Aunt I never knew about died their and a great Uncle was born at the other adress,
I knew they were in 25 Argyll st in August 1901 as that was where my grandfather was born as I have the cert of that.
But Still don't know where everyone else except William A As he was With his grandparents Joseph & Hannah Fisher. Any help ould be appeicated
