	Lesley Is this connected with your other thread about the War memorial, in which you say that you are 'researching' the men named on it? Clearly the original contact had nothing whatsoever to do with GR Why don't you use 'bucksremembers' to try to make contact? To find out if ANYONE is on GR, use the 'search all trees' facility. Put in the name, birth year and birthplace of the people being researched, and, if any links show........send a message to the tree owner, by clicking on FIND OUT MORE Please don't post a new thread for every name on the War Memorial

I wouldn't dream of asking for help on all the men on the WM - there are hundreds. most of the research is now done after more than 5 years - i already had all this so thanks but you needn't have spent the time. bucksremembers is not a website for contacting people. i accept the slapped wrist & will use the search facility for trees for any future attempts at contact with living relatives.
