Yes I agree entirely. I have renewed but only the minimum so that I can still access the tree. (just) Whoever thought up this new tree system should have a rethink it's terrible..

had the same trouble.........I am not a stupid person but the tree system on Genes is so frustrating .............I have trees on other sites which I have no trouble with and one of my own but Genes makes me scream!!
trying to access trees is almost impossible ....I have been a member almost since it started but not for much longer....it used to be so easy to use..........I am not against updating but only if it is useable.

rant over

I wished to view a particular tree that I had a permission for today but I cannot open it at all. I have a message saying that the tree is open but I can't get to it either way.

Update - there seems to be a bug if you try to access via your tree. It works ok at first but if you try and use the search option it sometimes fails with the message you mention.

On the other hand you can always access them via your Contacts List

It appears ok to me. How are you trying to access them?

I have been trying to view trees that I have had access to previously but I keep being told that I do not have any shared trees. What is happening?
