i AM RESEARCHING THE SURNAME OF FLINT AS I WANT TO WRITE 2 BOOKS ABOUT THE FLINT FAMILY AND RELATIONS WHO PAID THE ULTIMATE PRICE IN BOTH WORLD WARS. THERE WERE 178 IN THE 1ST WAR AND 78 IN THE 2ND IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THESE PEOPLE PLEASE GET IN TOUCH

I would have thought that if you're 'researching'.........you'd do the research, and try to initiate contact with possible relatives.

Or isn't that how you operate?

Anthony, a group of us have just finished researching the names on a certain war memorial.

If you take the Flint names separately, and check CWGC, Ancestry, freebmd etc., as we did, you will soon see if it is possible to contact family. Some lines will, of course, have died out. Cx
