Hi Can anyone help me find out where a marriage took place in 1973. I know is Northumberland and possibly New Biggin. Is it possible to look this date up. |

You cant look the actual date up but can find the GRO ref if you give the parties names |

I have the records from Freebmd but would like to know the church. The date is January 1953. Can I look at the parish records anywhere free. I dont have ancestry at the moment. |

Its the actual church I am trying to find, but I think your right I will have to get the marriage certificate. I have the number but thought it might be quicker to ask on this site. Many thanks to you all who replied. Merry Christmas |

When a church register is full, it is usually lodged in the county records office. |
