Member Since: May 2009 Posts: 45 Send Message	I have a couple of soldiers in the family who, on their discharge papers, are described as a "Waterloo Man" - and have served x number of years as such. What would a "Waterloo Man" be? One who actually fought and served at the said battle - or merely have been in the Army at the time?

	I have several ancestors who fought at Waterloo. As I understand it, if they were involved in the battle, they were awarded the Waterloo medal. There is a list of recipients of the medal on Ancestry.......and probably on other sites too. You could try googling Waterloo medal & see what comes up.
