Oh Chris you little star you! Thankyou.

I should have known that as they called little ann Maria Annie.

I did have all those others and have visited that grave yard but the church lost the plans years ago and i couldnt find any headstones..

Thankyou again :-)

Off to buy the cert and cry again.

I thought i had found all my Matildas children from her 1st Marriage years ago....how wrong I was!
Abel Horton b14/04/1856
Charles Horton b 3/3/1859
Ann Maria Horton b13/1/1861- d 30/5/1864.

Now i have found this new birth of a Mary Matilda Horton b 25/10/1862.
Cert arrived today. Same parents and Maiden name.
Father George Horton b1836-1863.
All 4 born in Newinvention Willenhall Staffs. (Walsall ish)

Now the puzzel begins....
Where did she go???
I cant find a death a Marriage nothing!

All of Matildas children and marriages/deaths were reg at Wolverhampton.

Matilda had a hard time in the 60s as her Husband died in 1863 then her Daughter died the following year aged just 3.
cause of death..
Injuries caused by a quantity of oil of vitriol being thrown over her. she died 3 days later.

Did Matilda have her Children taken away from her?
In 1861 census her eldest son Abel was staying with his great Uncle Abel Fletcher.

Any ideas?
