Is anyone going to the library who can look up a marriage for me? Any help would be appreciated.

Janet Report 5 Jan 2013 16:33

Have you looked at lan-opc it might have the information you require-jl

Jeanette Report 5 Jan 2013 16:42

Yes I have checked and the records are held at Manchester Central.

The Central Library is closed till early next year for refurbishment.

There is a temporary library based at City Library on Deansgate perhaps you could email them if no one is going.

have you checked with family search. Many images of Manchester churches records are on there. would possibly tell you which church you are looking for if it was a CofE marriage

Jeanette Report 6 Jan 2013 16:35

I know which church and the MFPR number of the record kept at the library. Will try e-mailing to see if they can help.

Many thanks for yourhelp.
