I tried to access this site
But after the home page loads I cannot access anything else.
Could someone else please try and see if it works for them.

I am trying to find the marriage of John Lion/Lyon to an Alyce or Agnis in Weekley, Northamptonshire; around the time of 1586.

Managed to get on to the site (eventually!) and they don't seem to list Weekley that far back.

They have 1641-1867 WEEKLEY

It looks as if you have to send an email to the site owners who will look up their transcribed records rather than search yourself.

I wasnt sure if records for the marriage were available, so this seems to indicate they are not.

I only have John LYon death as 1598 Weekley. nothing before that.

I know are not , but someone who does not read the opening post may ask for your help

Thank you for that. Once again you have helped me out.
Especially the burial date of 20 June. I had the year 1598 from the will he made.

Ive been looking for the marriage. Do you really think that Lyne is a good alternative to Lion/ LYon.

YOu must have trawalled through many records to find an Alice married to a John !

I do use free reg, but last year had discounted The LYne spelling.
Now I will have to reconsider my position. Maybe the children are also under Lyne.

This is proving very complex once again.

Not sure on surname, just used the 'Soundex' option for Lyon...

If no luck with e mail posted earlier, perhaps just try Northants. RO below, they might have new ideas!.
