Thank you for that. Once again you have helped me out.
Especially the burial date of 20 June. I had the year 1598 from the will he made.

Ive been looking for the marriage. Do you really think that Lyne is a good alternative to Lion/ LYon.

YOu must have trawalled through many records to find an Alice married to a John !

I do use free reg, but last year had discounted The LYne spelling.
Now I will have to reconsider my position. Maybe the children are also under Lyne.

This is proving very complex once again.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought you were offering free lookups in Northants

I wasnt sure if records for the marriage were available, so this seems to indicate they are not.

I only have John LYon death as 1598 Weekley. nothing before that.

Managed to get on to the site (eventually!) and they don't seem to list Weekley that far back.

They have 1641-1867 WEEKLEY

It looks as if you have to send an email to the site owners who will look up their transcribed records rather than search yourself.
