I am looking for any living relatives of my grandfather in the UK?

It looks like he was illigitamate if you only have his mothers name. He was a nurse child (foster) of the Listers in 1911 so no siblings.

I take it you dont have any other info about Louisa apart from what was on his birth cert?

Byatt could be the fathers surname?


41 Bank street Cheadle was a Workhouse in the 1911 census

my grandfather said he was raised by his grandfather. He also said the blacksmith was his father. Are there any pictures of him?

Maybe his grandparents could no longer care for him?

My grandfather said he recieved a good education and learned baking in England. He was a master baker at Weston Bread Company in Montreal.
