Firstly, thanks for all the info! YES I do have the original marriage cert. but I can only say on the cert. Sarahs Father's occupation is FARMER, her place of birth ,on cencus 1871, is LICHFIELD Staffs . So that leaves me in confusion! is her father in Yorks or Staffs?

Well, not sure if it helps (maybe not!) but this George is a farmer. He is a widower living with his brother. He is a bit old to be her father though.

Maybe we can see if there is a parentless Sarah somewhere??
