Well, that all sounds great, sorry I have delayed in replying, not been around all
day.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL YOUR REPLIES, THAT IS VERY HELPFUL.

Even better, the latest versions of FTM have their own built in option for creating a Book - just select Books from the Publish Tab.

You can include charts, reports, documents or photos and the book will be saved in PDF format.

I have printed off reports from it. If you go into the publishing option and pick the ahnentafel (!) report option, it prints off everything you have input, generation by generation, in word form. You need to adjust the number of generations you want it to encompass in the box on the right hand side before you ask it to print.

You can also pick a background picture for it to print onto. When I did mine I picked a picture of an oak tree in countryside - it comes out fairly faintly as background to your report. I then put it in a binder as a gift for my new grand-nephew., along with a page by page chart (again you need to adjust the number of generations).

Definitely try Ron at the website Roy has given above. I've never heard anything but good reports of his work and he will talk you through everything he needs to give you a great print-out of your family tree, no matter how big or small it is.

He did the family trees on the very first series of "Who Do You Think You Are?"

Has anyone ever printed out the information from a Family Tree Maker which
I believe can be formed into a book, or ever found a company that could do it for them ?
