Hi
Could someone do me a look up please.? I am trying to determine who owned 145 Queen Street Retford in 1910 through to 1915 (it is not the present owners)
Have been in touch with the Nottingham archives who have 3 books covering Retford
these are called VALUATION OFFICE SURVEY : land value and ownership 1910-1915
They are not available on -line
I am hoping that someone can do a research look up for me ,because in 1915 my grandma MARY WALKER nee Hughes born c 1883 and who died at home 145 Queen St East Retford 1945, moved into the property with her children ,having moved from Islington, then in 1917 her husband came to join her having been released has a p.o.w,his name was JAMES HENRY WALKER born 1880 Leeds died East
Retford at home 145 Queen St Retford 1941
After the death of Mary their daughter Rose stayed on in the property and when Rose`s husband Les Sutton died in the 1970`s she then moved in with her son :-) :-) :-)
