I came across this in london electoral roll it was in larger print than the J.Alsop that followed it on the same line. Head of household and wife were Alsop.
Is it a title, description or name?
Thanks,
Joan

If you input 'FEIGE' in the surname search box on Ancestry, you'll find plenty of results

Which year? Which area?

We can't scroll through the complete ER on the offchance of finding it

No idea!

Care to c&p the transcription so we can have a look ourselves?

A google search for Taube Feige does throw up results for that as (female) first names, but it doesn't seem appropriate as an ER entry as you've described

joan34 Report 18 Feb 2013 07:50

Thanks everyone. I was looking up a Ruth Alsop- not this one actually and didn't realise that Taube Fiege was a name. Joan

Not surprising........I wouldn't have imagined it was, unless I'd seen the evidence.
