Hi Stephen

It's unlikely that anyone who is a member of this family will just happen to see your message.

Try putting any of these names into "search" and then "search all trees" at the top right of the screen to see if anyone else on Genes has any of these people in their tree. If you find someone who has then you can send them a message direct.

If looking for his parents, you could start with his marriage cert which
should give you his father's name and occupation.

Use http://www.freebmd.org.uk/ to check for marriages of the children born 1905 onwards, most of them are to be found there. You can then cross check for any births to those marriages on freebmd up to approx 1950's (an ongoing project) or up to 2006 on other commercial sites. Then marriages of those births etc etc. until you have a living person to possibly contact.

William is quite elusive before 1911, so as mentioned, his marriage certificate, naming his father hopefully will help to track him down. I wonder if his father was in the Army and that is why? Or he wasn't born Camberwell, that may be his earliest memory of where he lived.

You can't possibly know whether he had brothers and sisters until you find out who his parents were

So, wait until you get his marriage cert..................

.....then post ALL the details from it on here.

ONE post per topic.

Posting again won't alter the situation.

Wait till you get some FACTS from the man's marriage cert

Then, and only then, you can try to find out if he had siblings..................
