Couldn't find Richard Aldridge in earlier census. He's very specific about birthplace on 1911 census so I thought first name/ age might differ.

Reckon this is him:

YES ROY HE WAS ILLEGITIMATE ,AND HE WAS REGISTERED IN BIRMINGHAM ON THE 17/09/1902 , BUT ITHINK HE WAS ADOPTED VERTUALLY STRAIGHT AWAY. THE NAMES OF THE HALF BROTHERS AND SISTER THAT I HAVE BEEN GIVEN DO NOT TIE UP WITH THE NAMES IN THE HOUSE HOLDS THAT YOU HAVE SO KINDLY SUPPLIED. I HAVE LEARNED THAT MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WAS IN THE ARMED FORCES AND DIED AS A RESULT OF MUSTARD GAS POISONING AFTER THE FIRST WORLD WAR. BUT I'M NOT SURE IF HIS NAME WAS BEESELEY OR IF THAT WAS HIS MOTHERS MAIDEN NAME. I WILL CHECK HARRY ALDRIDGE OUT AS THIS MIGHT BE A LEAD.THANKS TO EVERY ONE

Mark,

I am very certain we have found the correct Albert. Look at the information again. The address for Richard in 1901 fits with the address where Albert was born and the 1911 census lists Albert Ed Aldridge with mother Bertha and father Richard.

What names have you been given for the "half" siblings?

Rose

Who gave you the names of the half brothers and sisters?
Also, as Rose put, could you tell us them with ages and birth places?
Thank-you

You want the children to be William, George, Albert and Moira, in that birth order.
These are the children that we found in 1911:
Albt Ed Aldridge 9 (Albert)
William Hy Aldridge 7 (William)
Myra Aldridge 2 (Moira)
So birth order is wrong, but 3 of the 4 children are there.
And this has already been posted by Rose for the 4th child:
Births Sep 1911
ALDRIDGE George E Beesley Aston 6d 615 (George)
