Not 'arf, Sylvia! All the sons are already in my tree of course, but one of the grandsons wasn't, so adding him, as have found him on 1911 census just now. Emoticons disappeared for some reason, or would have put big smile 8-).

1926 newspaper article found about my great-grandfather . . . and with a picture!

I emailed the LRO where he lived in early 20C . . . with his name & I said he was a local councillor, which I remembered my Grandma telling me in the 60's when I was a kid. Well, they emailed me back the very next day with the newspaper report of his death, complete with picture and comments from local worthies! Also the report of his funeral with usual details plus a list of all the mourners & even how they were related. Wow.
