How do you redefine child to parents link quickly?

Member Since: February 2013 Posts: 13 Send Message	I have input a large family tree and the exported *.ged file when imported into Family Tree external software and the hierarchy to 1st child linked is lost? I have attached to parent, but picks all the others child I have added. Is there a quick way to redefine links without deleting & creating a mother with same details?

	Which tree do you refer to? On here? If so.......ask GR..................or look at the FAQ's under 'help'

Member Since: February 2013 Posts: 13 Send Message	Figured it out as I have been working back in time. I assigned 1st child to father then added mother as spouse. To assign properly, I have to edit child, find existing with mother maiden name and attached properly to both. :-)
