As IGP says you get two emails - and they do arrive almost simultaneously. The subject line for the GRO email is " GRO Order Confirmation" and it details the information shown on the final screen once you have completed your order with GRO.

The details in the GRO email are as follows (have removed my order details)

Order complete

Your order has been successfully sent to GRO for processing.
Please find below the order reference details.
Please make a note of these reference numbers as you will need to quote them if you have any enquiries regarding the application.

Order Reference Details
GRO Reference No : COL??????/2013
Customer Reference No :
Payment Service Provider Reference No :
Number of applications in order : 1
Order submission date : 05 Mar 2013 17:16

Order Application Summary Details
Name on Certificate
Certificate Type
Number of Certificates
Despatch Date (Est)

Hope your cert arrives soon

I only got the one from worldpay so have sent in an enquiry.

I don't know what they meant by COL number on the form :/

InspectorGreenPen Report 10 Mar 2013 13:50

You should get two emails - one from Worldpay confirming the payment and that the order has been processed, and one from the GRO confirming the order has been received by them.

Mine yesterday arrived within less than a minute of each other.

lotsofmarmite Report 10 Mar 2013 11:08

I got an email confirmation from 'world pay' stating the date and time of receipt of order and stating "GRO has received the order" - but don't recall getting an email from GRO.

It's 10 working days now; I will wait until next week and fill in form as suggested.

Fingers xxx that it'll arrive in the post tomorrow.

InspectorGreenPen Report 10 Mar 2013 09:13

With refs are currently being despatched within a week. I ordered one yesterday (9th), Estimated despatch date - 15th.

Without refs, your application takes up to 15 days to process.

If not received after at least 5 working after the Edd then report non-delivery and they will send you a replacement. To do this you use the on-line enquiry / complaint form and select 'Certificate not received' under the heading 'Details of your complaint' All problems need to be reported within three months.

JannieAnnie Report 9 Mar 2013 19:45

You should have received a GRO confirmation email - it includes details including a despatch date (estimated). I ordered one on 5th March without the GRO reference it shows despatch of 27th March - estimated (takes longer obviously). I am currently waiting for one ordered on 18th February (after 9 pm) - estimated despatch 12th March - also without references. If you ordered yours with GRO reference, it should be quicker.

lotsofmarmite Report 9 Mar 2013 18:34

Yes it is GRO and I don't think it's taken this long before.

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 9 Mar 2013 17:40

Is this GRO? What was the estimated date of despatch? Bear in mind they send by 2nd class post within the UK.

If you haven't received it by say Thursday, then it might be worth phoning gro to see if/when it was despatched.

lostmeboardname Report 9 Mar 2013 16:57

it can take three or four weeks sometimes.
