There are no French BMDs, in common with most European countries.
The registers are not centralised, but are recorded by the Local Authority in the town where the event took place.
If you know which town you are looking for, they are generally quite helpful, but your enquiry will need to be in French & of course, the info you recieve will also be in French

Can you get French Bdm on here.If so would somebody be kind enough to look up a marrige for a James Henry Shelley about 1918 and a birth for a Janet Louise Shelley about 1920.
